These tiny birds are lightning fast.. I found this chickadee making repeated landings on a particular perch..after few 100 photos I was able to capture it in the frame..
Comments and feedback appreciated

I think the black and white helps to simplify the image and make the action more prominent, good decision. Could be a little bit sharper on the head, but for a chicadee in flight still impressive.

Manoj,

I like the B&W treatment you used here, the fanned out tail and the light you caught in the bird's eye. I do wish the bird's head & eye were sharper. The dappled light in the background makes an interesting pattern.

I like your idea here, but I'm wishing the bird were a bit bigger in the frame and a touch sharper.

To catch a chickadee in flight is an achievement in my book. I have not even come close. The position of the tail and wings are very good and the B&W treatment makes the bird stand out in the image. The comments about sharpness have already been addressed. If the bird were in perfect focus this would be and outstanding image.

Thank you guys for your feedback.. Yea I do agree about the sharpness...getting the bird itself in the frame is quite a tedious task...and then the focus issues..I approximately guessed a focal plane and turned off the AF....wish the bird flew in this plane :( ..I had to get the rt shutter speed too with the apt DOF.. so many issues.. I hope to get it rt next time.
