Pristine coast

I'm not sure if this should go to landscape or photo art gallery. Just trying out some HDR with photomatix. I really don't know much about HDR and I don't use it very often but I liked the look of this one. I'm guessing that the blurriness in some of the tree fern leaves simply comes from wind movement giving this dreamy feel. It was a magic place to be in and I feel that this pictures captures the mood.

West Coast of New Zealand, native coastal vegetation. Does it look too fake for you? Any ideas on how to improve this?

Canon EOS 40D + Sigma EX 14mm, f20, tripod, HDR in photomatix from 3 exposures with some saturation and sharpening in PS.

Larger version included.

Busy image, but lots of interesting things. Certainly wasn't guessing Photomatix on this. Your treatment looks pretty good.

Hi Andrius, I just got home from NZ and AU. I'll post a pic or two in the next few day. I think you've done an excellent job of capturing the variety of green colors that I saw on North Island. The vegetation is so lush.

Andrius, it is a real pleasure to see how you handled all these delicate green tones! Your picture has a fine natural look and gives an idea of this specific atmosphere. Great work!
