Waves crashing onto the rocks during sunrise in Kanyakumari (Southern India).

Nikon D300, Nikkor 12-24mm, circ-pol, tripod
f/13, Blends (for rocks, waves & sky) from 1s, 1/2s, 1/4s, 1/10s, ISO200

The varying directions of the water streams is very appealing, as is the warm light. The bottom of the frame does not hold as much interest for me, with the large rock seeming at odds with the lightness of the rest of the frame. Still it's a lovely scene.

I like the processing and sweep of the lines. I think cropping the bottom rock frees up the comp and would allow you to follow the lines a bit easier. :toast:

This is a very interesting composition and unique image, in the sense that the water motion appears to be moving in very different directions. Not sure if that's an artifact of the blend, or just the natural water movement, but it does help create some tension and a feeling of opposing forces in the comp, which I like. I also like the way the sunset is very colorful, but still so soft and subdued. I think you absolutely nailed the saturation and contrast in the sky.
