Winter Pyracantha

I posted this in flora instead of photo art...given that generous artistic leeway is given in flora. Although, I only played with color, saturation and layering of vignettes.

Although we Rarely get snow, I wanted the illusion of coldness to come through this piece.

Lovely scene Lucy. Reminds me of the winterberries we have up north. If you really want create a winter impression, those bright green leaves might be toned down a bit, but I am enjoying that extra splash of color. (Can't find much bright green around home these days.)

Lucy,

I like the white on the branches flowing in from the vignette. I also like the pano aspect ratio. The image is very appealing to me. I just needed to get past the white vignette - nothing wrong with it - I'm just not used to seeing them.

Hey, that's cheating.

Well, if you're going to cheat at least make it beautiful like this! Very creative and artistic.
