Pine Warbler.

Sugar Land, TX. My back yard. Today.

I'm pretty sure on the ID, but a lot of these little birds are similar. (Initially listed as a yellow throated vireo-thanks to Brian for the correction)

D3. ISO 400. 300/2.8 with 2x t.c. f7.1 1/1250s -0.7ev.

It was a beautiful day today. Before today we had 12 days below freezing in Houston-1st time since 1895. Not that cold by most standards, but even the birds around here have been taking it easy. Can't wait for Spring.

Super sharp and that piece of food in the bill is a nice accent... what's the background? It looks like an OOF fence which creates a nice pattern.

looks like a warbler to me, Angela, seems like a yellow-rump, but I'm not sure about the yellow in the face, maybe a drab Pine?? I like the pose and comp. Nice detail too.

Great light and coor and I really like the food in the beak. Nice clean background as well.

I thought the beak was too long for a warbler. Here he is from the top. Unfortunately with the wings tightly tucked-can't see if there is a yellow rump patch.

I'd go with Pine Warbler here, Angela. Definitely a Dendroica, and Pine seems to be the best fit, both in terms of field marks and winter range. The yellow in the back and head, along with the yellow on the bottom of the feet indicate Pine over Yellow-rumped.

Fine pose and perch Angela. Image quality is very good, like the exposure here. Wacky winter weather everywhere.
