I like the concept. It seems to work. Maybe a bit to much at the bottom, but the top 2/3's definitely holds my interest.

Maurizo,

Yes, great things one can do with long lenses and the landscape - and certainly with sunrise/sets. Great , almost delicate detail in the silhouetted tree and tiny branches and leaves. Also, I like the color in the sky. In addition to Tony's suggestion about a crop, I might even suggest to tighten this on the right as well; really emphasizing the silhouette and setting sun.

Not sure if this is your first post in ES&S/Landscape, if so welcome!

The thumbnail looked a bit lacking, but I really like this version. I think the sky looks excellent as backdrop, the silhouetted branches and leaves add a delicate and elegant touch.

This is lovely. I think a little crop from the bottom will help too.

Exploring new ideas is critical to improving one's photography (and probably much of one's life). I like your concept. The colors in the sky and the texture in the trees work very well. I agree with the others that the black areas detract. The crop is a big improvement, but I still find too much black on the left and bottom.
