I thought I would post these tulips from last spring. Hopefully the bright colors will help us all thru another winter day and look ahead to the coming spring, only 48 days away.

Craig: I often wonder what frail fragile flowers think when someone points a bazooka like yours at them? I like the colors and DOF. Compositionally I think I would have preferred a lower camera angle to get all of the three FG blooms in the frame and cut off the OOF flower in the URC. The dew is a nice touch and I think you managed the light well. >=))>

Bill, Thanks for the lower camera angle suggestion. I am not happy with the OOF URC bloom partially present. I have always liked the DOF results with the "Bazooka" lens, but sometimes when your shooting small flowers a long way off, you have to contend with things getting in the way, like Cleveland!

Nice spring thoughts Craig, and I love the colors. I sort of wish that there were fewer FG blooms; at least that one on the left not there. I do really like the soft BG of pink that you have here.

Craig:
I like the colors here and the dew on the center bloom. Wish to see the whole of the left bloom.

Love the color palette Craig and the exposure is very well done for my tastes. I think the composition would be stronger without the upper white tulip. Even so, its a good looking image and has a very appealing mood.
