Not the best day but I had to get a shot of this island. A fairly static comp. Let me know what you think.

Dean, I like the layered background here and the endless lines that seep into your middleground. That is the strength in the scene here and I want to see more of that filling the frame. I like what you're seeing but wouldn't mind it being refined.

Where are you hiding Bilbo Baggins!?!
Great picture, i particularly like the "horizon" line on the water suggesting more light as you get nearer the island!

I like this Dean. I'm unsure about the brighter bottom area, but I love the horizontal lines in the water and how they mimic the horizontal line of the island. Also love the reflected color.

I like the steadiness in the composition, which is still accentuated by the calm surface of the water in the foreground. Maybe I had cropped the brighter clouds at the top. Anyway, a pleasant picture.

I like this a lot, it's not dramatic, but I could sit in front of it a daydream. In spite of the static composition, I see dynamism as your eyes move from the bright reflections in the foreground to the black island and back. I would crop most of the bright clouds.

I see why you shot this. A gorgeous graphic image. I can even see a square comp of just the top.

There's actually quite a bit of movement here with the water ripples. A scroll crop of the lighter clouds in the sky strengthens the comp, IMO.
