When Wheeler Pond freezes over, all kinds of activities take place on it. The local hockey crew dragged this bench out onto the ice but with all of the recent snow, they'll now have to bring snow removal equipment if they want to use the frozen pond again.

Canon 50D, EF 17-40/4L on Bogen 3221/RRS ballhead, remote release, polarizer, f/11 at 1/60th, ISO 100.

This really tells the story Jim. The scene and story is not to different than the one of the pond behind our condo. Early in the season, before the monster snows arrived, there were skaters and local kids playing hockey. Now there is deep snow with some lonesome snowshoe tracks. BTW - I like the detail in the snow and the rich blue sky.
