WC#466 Punched card

This image was taken the first of January in a wood not so far from my home. I tried to give a sense of roundness to this bark using a dof that allowed me this. This cortex reminds me the old IBM cards.

Thanks for viewing.
C&C are very welcome.

Unique subject--can't say im overly enthralled by it, but it is different!
Rich--ha imparato l'inglese allo stesso modo che ho imparato l'italiano, da internet!

Funny you should mention the old IBM cards, my high school had flexible scheduling, and if we wanted to rearrange our schedule in the morning we had to punch it out on an IBM card . So your image kinda has and od connection with my memories. Beyond that it's well composed and well seen Monica.

I like the colors and the patterns...and the textures work fine. Not sure about the OOF aspect or the composition, but it appears you achieved what you planned.

Unusual and interesting image, Monica. Actually, to me it looks like an IBM card returned by the computer center after a card jam (which happened only when I didn't have a copy of the card!). :toast:

Fits this theme well Monica, definitely looks "punchy"
Could be a hunter missed the target, a round of buckshot would look similar
I like images open to interpretation, it sets our imagination free :wavey:
