Dogwood Bloom

I finally decided to experiment with textures so this is a first for me. This image was taken in the Hocking Hills region of SE Ohio. I isolated the bloom at 200mm. Texture was applied with the use of a Shadow House Creations texture in PS CS3 additional processing with NIK.

Nikon D700
70-200VR @200mm
F2.8 @ 1/250 iso 400

I really like the vintage quality to this. The flower is perfect for the type of texture and lighting used. Wonderfully done.

This works very well for me. Dark and moody, as David said, with a touch of beauty as well.
