Really nice light on the bird, and nice, subdued background.

I like the snow and bird Marc. Nice overall comp. Maybe just a bit more room at the bottom for the tail. BG really shows the snow and the bird well. Bird looks just the smallest bit soft. I might run another round of sharpening to bring out the detail if this were mine. Very appealing image overall.

Very nice, I like the snow, but also agree needs just a bit more space behind the tail. Thanks for sharing.

Love the falling snow and pose of this exquisite red bird. Does look just a tad soft. I too would add a bit more room at the bottom. The eye certainly is attracted to and stays on that wonderful bird.

A handsome bird. Good color, and I like the falling snow. Cold, huh?

Marc,
very nice winter image. As Ron said, I'd prefer a bit more room at the bottom and give him a bit more of sharpening.

I post this reworked picture according to the comments. I gave as much space as possible at the bottom for the tail and I ran another round of sharpening.

The repost is better Marc. The reds are very natural, there is great eye contact and the falling snow adds a nice touch too.

Great picture! I really like the bright red of the Cardinal against the gray background. The snowflakes are awesome, and I love how you can see them all around his beak!
