Hi Ron: Looks like fun up there. Very nice sharp image of the Harrier. Nice background to go along with it. This image seems a little bright to me. I'm guessing you could move the black point to the right in a levels adjustment to add a bit more pop to this without compromising any details.

Have a great time!
Really nice detail here - as usual. The head and eye are especially sharp.
Fine pose, good habitat!

Another beautiful BIF shot from you, Ron. This bird does deserve to "pop" more though. A very small, selective, tweak to exposure might do it alright. However, it's such a nice image I'm reluctant to suggest changes. There may be quite a delicate balance between detail and exposure, particularly for the far wing. :toast:

Great flight shot Ron. Excellent detail and nice wing position. Very nice lighting. It is just a tad bright on my monitor. As soon as I looked at this one, I knew that background was not from Florida. I hope your getting some good shots in Utah.

Thanks for all the comments. I am post-processing on a different monitor than usual, so that might explain the brightness comments. I reduced the mid-tones just a tad in this repost. It might be tough to see the difference in a 720px image, but the change did make a difference in the larger version I worked on. Better?

Great shot Ron. Glad to see that Ron's pickup worked its magic for you!. wonderful angle and light on the NH. I think I would tone down the brightness a bit. Great bg too. Well done. :toast:

Nice flight shot Ron! I too find the photo still a bit bright and the white on the tail is a bit hot (imo)

Nothing like your home field monitor!

Beautiful pose, background and eye contact Ron, love how the wing positions show the plumage variation of the top and bottom, sharpness & details. Prefer the repost being a little darker. The phrags sure make a beautiful background!

An excellent in flight harrier image Ron. I like the wing position and eye contact and love the OOF phrag background. The problematic white rump isn't blown even in your original, though I do prefer the darker repost. A very strong image IMO. I'm delighted that you're having so much fun with these harriers.
