Conejos County

This scene made me feel like I was in a Zane Grey novel. It had all the elements of a western. This is the Rio Grande in it's earlier life in Colorado.

Comments and critiques always welcome, and thanks for looking,

Morris

Beautiful! I love this Morris. So real looking and a wonderful feel. I just want to be there. I think this might be one of my new favorite photographs. Well done!

Great shot Morris. You might get some suggestions to crop the sky a little but I wouldn't. I think the big sky is what gives it the "Old West" feel. Nice job.

This is really pretty Morris, especially the colors in the FG. I bet this has some very nice detail in a larger size!

I really like the expanse of sky here Morris and the glistening turquoise river in the distance. The greens and yellows of the foreground shrubs are also delightful. Beautiful capture!

Very nice. I like the well balanced light and the soft textures it imparts to everything.

This works great Morris. A very "clean" composition. I think the two main colors, blue and green/yellow, work really well here and simplify the scene very well.

Got a lot going for it, Morris. The colors, tones, textures and that leading line draws the eye right in. Beautiful.

I remember this from RMNP (I think). Beautiful image, Morris! I love the contrast between the yellow brush and the blues in the sky.

Morris, this makes me want to ride my horse (if I had one) right into the frame. That blue stream could not be prettier or better placed if you had painted it into the frame.

Great presentation as always, but im not totally sold on the split here--think i would have preferred thirds. But very nice overall!
