All is Revealed

I've driven past this scene countless times and never noticed it until this past snowfall. It is a jumble of brush/shrub trees with absolutely no definition. Totally no descript. Until this wet snow fell and clinged to the branches and the structure was revealed.

I could just stare at this for a while, trying to follow all the intricate little details. Fractal geometry in action.

The graphical nature is beautiful Bob. It's like a wall that I am trying to look through, I love the effect.Real nice conversion too, it is mesmerizing to look at. I could see cropping off the bottom too, it looks a touch out of harmony with the top but that's just my opinion though. Cheers

The snow definitely transformed this otherwise chaotic scene into one with structure, definition and harmony. I really like the way the dark trunks pop out against the snow covered branches. The forest where I live is quite similar to this, very tough to photograph unless the conditions are just right. I can also see cropping out the grasses along the bottom edge. Great work!

Great work. I just love the dense structure and texture of the scene. Something like this I could do every winter in my local photohaunt, yet I never managed to create something like this.

What a wonderful snowscape, Bob! This is fascinating. Just enough structure and pattern in the trees to keep my focus.

Bob,

Right up my alley! This is fabulous. You are so right about the snow revealing the structure of the scene. So often intimate scenes like this are transformed under all the various conditions.

Great job with this one. NO nits, love everything about it.
