This White Wagtail was a regular visitor in the garden of my parents during the snow period in December 2010.
Nikon D300s @ 300 mm, iso 200, f 6.3, 1/500 sec. on a beanbag.

a nice bird and setting Sandra. A little more light on the head would have been nice to give a catchlight but otherwise very nice.

Colour and detail look good Sandra and you have handled the conditions very well, snow looks perfect. Would agree with Matt re a tad more light and I'm not too sure about the horizon cutting through the body, but that might be rather picky  The larger image really works for the viewer IMHO. :toast:

Really nice detail in this pretty bird!
Ideally, having the feet visible and a catchlight would be nice - but he didn't cooperate!
Nice catch as is.

Lovely perspective on this one and I love the background. I see a catchlight in the large version.

There IS a catchlight in the eye in the larger version, just a shame it is so small. I like this shot. Pied wagtails tend to be difficult to do well in the best of conditions, but to get one in the snow like this is excellent.

Beautifully exposed in the conditions, and I like the low angle (Unusual for me ! )

Large image looks good Sandra. Whites handled well. Agree a little more light on the head would have helped but you can't have everything  :toast:
