This shot is all about the distinct color layers--and i think its a great success in showing those transitions. Cool shot. To be super-ultra picky--i wish the water were flowing from left to right, but that's cause im a right handed snob

very peaceful Justin

lovely colors in BG

I suggest to increase the contrast on the mountain (Right side) to match the contrast on the left side (IMO)

Great shot Justin! I love the layers here and the motion in the water is a real plus. For my taste the saturation seems a tiny bit strong (mostly the blue in the water), but that is just personal taste. Beautiful image!

Great colours Justin. The layering is wonderful and distinct. The colour on the cliff face is a great back drop.Cheers

I find layered compositions difficult to execute. I think you've done a really nice job with this one.

The shutter speed for the water is perfect. The multiple layers really work well here. Wonderful.

That's nice! Love what the water does to the scene. The soft curves add a lot of interest and appeal for me. And also some sense of movement.

Wonderful shot Justin. The water is fantastic, and the colors in the grass, trees and rock wall really make this a standout. As said, shutter speed for the water really gave this a nice effect!

Gosh, I tried something like this and couldn't get it to work. You give me incentive to keep trying. The strong colors seem to really help.

Justin,

I really like the scene you've captured here. Great layers, all coming together in a nicely composed landscape from Zion.

For me the contrast and exposure look good. I would agree with others that I think the saturation could be pulled back - at least selectively. I would leave the cliffs alone. But the water I would pull back on the blue and the grasses just on the shoreline are a little strong as are some of the reds in the trees. Otherwise, this is quite a lovely take.

I like this Justin! Interesting layers, I agree with the pull back on the blue water  Hey, I just noticed an imprint of a persons "face" up on the canyon wall! 60% over from the top left! Looks like Bob Marley to me!! And no, I am not smoking anything  And the fact that this is ZION, to cool

Justin, Zion should have it's own paint set, because the color palette is definitely unique. This might be a smidge over-saturated, but you have definitely captured the essence of what one experiences when there. It has the look and feel of exactly what I envision when I reflect back on those wonderful visits. Thanks for posting my friend.
