A recent portrait of a robin (many of them in this period)- I try again to post it since first time during uploading process the colours became dull and greysh (no idea about it)- I hope this time it'll be ok.
Nikon d90; nikkor 300mm f4; ISO 400; F5; 1/400; -0,66EV; tripod
Many thanks for looking

Nice balanced composition Fabio, sharp details.
The color and exposure look excellent, great BG too.
And that lichen adds good interest also..
Well done :toast:

Beautiful bird, Fabio.

Lovely colors and nice detail.

As much as I like the moss on the twig, I think it fights for attention and I would consider cropping it, and perhaps add just a bit of canvas to the right.

Nice capture.

Beautiful, Fabio. Excellent colors this time. I like the pose a lot. You might consider a vertical crop as you could put the whole perch in focus and make the bird larger in the frame, but this composition balances well as-is. :toast:

Nothing dull and greyish about this shot. I like it in part because it is green and everything here right now is pretty grey. And now for some better reasons as to why I like it.... The bird is set off well from a complimentary bg. I noticed some think the twig is competing for attention. I guess I have to agree, but I don't think it is in a bad way. I was going to suggest that if the rest of the twig could be sharpened I would do it. I think it gives one's eye more to enjoy. And although this composition breaks the rule about a bird looking off the picture in the direction of least amount of room - I think somehow that works here too. Well done.
