I am always hopeful of having good shooting conditions on the weekends, Yesterday, morning was glorious. Sunshine and hoar frost. Difficult to compose on this tree as there are farmhouses, cell towers and other trees in the background. This is the same tree I photographed this past fall and posted recently.

Nikon D700, 24-70mm at 62 mm, f16 @ 1/25. Minimal processing in Photoshop - removed a few dust spots, curves and sharpening.

All comments appreciated.

Beautiful composition. Really like the mirroring of the tone in the trees to the tone of the horizon.

Beautiful scene Tom, you definitely lucked out with some great conditions here. The light and frost are very nice, and I really like the comp. Great sense of space. I can definitely relate to a scene like this living in a rural area with lots of farmhouses and farm fields.
Great work.

Light airy and spacious I like it very much Tom. It looks like a scene from England or Scotland, where was it taken?
