464-A Ridge Runs Thru It

A rainbow straddling a ridge on Thompson Pass, Alaska. I took the dogs up for a hike during a rainstorm and was glad I took my camera despite the drenching rain. Just as we started the hike, the rain stopped, the clouds moved out and an amazing rainbow lit up and put on a show. The evening turned out a whole lot nicer than I had expected!

Two frames stitched, both frames: ISO-160, f8.0, 1/100

What a beaut. I see the part of the double rainbow on each side. Stunning with the landscape.

Excellent, Gary! Clear skies at Thompson Pass? Seems unnatural...
