Ocean Pastels

Incoming Atlantic tide during sunrise golden hour. Just as the sun rose above the horizon it gave some nice light and hue to the water. About a 35% crop here, because the rest of the frame was boring and I didn't have a longer lens readily available. Canon 5DII, Nikon 14-24mm at 24mm, f/20, 0.6seconds. Thanks for looking!

The picture shows a lot of energy from the water and the rising sun! I like the contrasting cold and warm colors, as well as the play of light and shadows.

Nice water abstract Chris, pastel colors work well. The water looks like there is smoke mixed in with it. Nicely done.

Excellent image for this genre. I love the subtle hues in the water and the interesting patterns.

Beautiful abstraction with lots of action and wonderful light. Both subtle and brilliant. Good idea on the crop; it's really strong this way.

I like how this could also be water flowing in a river. There's no clue other than your narrative. So it becomes a study of light and texture, and it's very nice.

Very nice abstract , pastel colors are impressive. I like the texture of the water.. Darkish area in upper right corner is a little distracting.

Love the shimmer to the specular highlights. Your shutter speed choice also works great for a sense of motion. Well done!
