It's 15 degrees out - I wanted to post something that reminded me of a warmer time!! Taken in my garden last summer.

Richard:
A very dynamic image...sure looks fiery! Like the POV, texture and colors. I would prefer the OOF portion to be more in the bg than fg but this is a personal perference. Good as shown.

A lot of impact. Vibrant color and strong light make this a winner!

A grand specimen with rich color and nice, radiating petals. Love the lighting. A welcome sight, indeed.

Striking image Richard. I like the comp and your dof decision in particular. No suggestions.

Super shot, Richard ! Love the sharpness of the centre, the composition is first rate and the colouring/lighting too.

Very nice, with great colours.
Maybe I would like some more space at the top, leaving less OOF petals in the foreground, and putting the center of the flower in the lower half. If possible.

Brilliant colors and center detail drew me in. Keep wanting to see more, especially on the top.

Beautiful shot of this (firepot?) dahlia. One of my favorite subjects. Nice composition, actually looks like flames.
