One of my first images from when I arrived on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, this one was right outside our hotel in the early morning! We had some great play of rain and light which resulted in some great colours in the sky. On the mountain you can see the rainshowers blwoing over the landscape, truly a spectecular morning!

Please view large, c&c welcome!

p.s. Seems I posted a version without NR, for an image with NR check the purchase print link

Thanks Dean; being able to run back to the hotel was indeed very nice, especially when the hailstones started falling!

Very dramatic and I find very appealing all the details and colors in the pond!

The light and comp are working well together here. This doesn't necessarily wow me, but I absolutely enjoy looking at this.

Jorne,

Great mood and atmosphere in this Scottish landscape. I think you've captured the essence of the place very well - cool, wet and stormy conditions? The linked version is excellent.

My only wish would be for a little more room on the right to include the entire shoreline. And a suggestion to neutralize the cyan a little bit in the sky/clouds in the UR portion of the sky. I guess though, that it's really in the personal choice area in terms of color and sat.
