A good looking shot, Geoffrey--nice bg, nice light, good sharpness and DOF. Ideally I'd like just a bit more of a head turn, and I might try to bring out a little more detail in the darkest blacks.

Neat snowy setting Geoff - love the colors in wood bird and background. There's enough detail in the blacks for me but a bit more of a head turn might have been a positive.

I really like the wood perch. Nice detail and sharpness where it counts. I like the look from the back of the bird, but agree a bit more head turn toward the camera would have strengthen the image. Still really nice.

Very cool! Love the frosty perch, lighting, and bit of a head turn.

Interesting light and well exposed, sharp detail Geoffry.
I especially like the warm colors and snowy perch :toast:

Love the light Geoffrey, the frost on the perch, the nice details and background colors. I agree that a bit more of a head turn would have made this image stronger but in a way I like this way too.
