Orange Breasted Sunbird

Another example of the many wonderful birds we had the privilege to see while we were in South Africa this past September. The various sunbirds are incredibly beautiful but so tiny and quick that they are quite difficult to get good images of. This one was on Table Mountain and managed to stay still just long enough to get off a couple of shots. C&C are always very much appreciated....thanks for looking!

Lovely bird and that perch is to die for. Cute pose and nice lighting.

Great perch and lovely colors, Joe. The compression really hurts the head area IMO. Is there anything you can do to pull out some detail in the area under the eye?

Cheers,

Carol

Delightful image, Joe. Good techs and what a pretty bird. I like the perch a lot, but maybe cut some off from the bottom to lower the bird?

Beautiful image, Joseph! I really like the typical South-African plant it uses as perch. I like the comp as it is is. :toast:

An excellent image
I like both the bird and the perch.
Well done.
