Just a simple lion portrait, but I liked how the soft light due to overcast conditions rendered the detail in the fur.

Shutter Speed 1/160 Sec.
Aperture Value f/10

Oh.... That nice overcast light worked great here. The detail (especially evident) in the larger version is fantastic. Your choice of f/10 looks like it was perfect for this subject and setting. Very nice.

Beautiful portrait, and beautifully rendered, Vincent! I remember this guy. He gave us several photo ops.

'Just a simple lion portrait', maybe, but each time I look at it I see something new. Most recently I have been looking at the scars on his nose. This guy has been in a few scraps in his life. Great portrait, with bags of character.

aH Moremi, I love that place. It was the place were I saw a Lion dying. Great details and the soft light surely helped to emphasize them. He looks like he was waken up few seconds before, was it?

Cheers, Luca
