Taken at Nash point on the Heritage Coast in South Wales.

I like the way the clouds copy the lead-in lines in the rocks.

I like the detail and the light on the cliff for added contrast and think this would make a great B&W, well done.

Geoffrey, the foreground rocks are a great feature and compliment the image really well. I like how the right hand rock points towards the cliff face. Only nit I have is the upper right side feels a little empty. perhaps moving your setup to the right and including a bit more of the cliff.

I noticed those clouds too right away. I really like the foreground textures too.

I agree. The lines of the clouds nicely complement the lines of the cliff and the foreground too. There is obviously a lot of stratum in the cliff face, but it still looks unexpectedly soft to me, even in the larger photo.

That is cool, the clouds are a great foil to the flow of the earth below. Was a shot available with later light coloring the sky?

Geoffrey,

This is an excellent coastal image. All the converging lines really make this a successful composition. My only suggestion would be a curves adj layer with a little "s" adjustment to bump the contrast a little bit. Gotta love the light on the cliffs. Well seen and captured.
