Waveform

I was fascinated by the way the waves were forming as they warped and undulated in the surge.

Fingal Head, New South Wales.

Nikon D80, 35mm f/1.8 lens, f/10, 1/80sec, ISO 100, polarizer.

Thank you for any comments and critiques.

David.

Very fascinating indeed... We rarely have huge waves where i live, so i always find large waves fascinating :-)

David,

This is awesome! Great timing with the wave and it's pretty clear from this capture how the waves might develop and create some fascinating forms and movement.

My only wish is for a move to the right a little. I'm wishing for just a bit more space on the right. But that's minor really and of course I wasn't there and there were probably some constraints. Regardless, this is a great capture. Nice job with the b&w tonalities as well.

Devil's Post Pile at the edge of the sea... This makes for a very nice B&W, and I like the way the rocks and wave action frame the scene.

Neat the way the foreground rocks mimic the wave shapes. Excellent image for B&W. It feels a bit underexposed on my monitor, though I do have it set a bit dark.
