This was taken on the trail behind the Eielson Visitors Center. Again, loved the wild flowers in Alaska and Northern Canada. I tried cropping this a little, but to me it just didn't work. I would appreciate any comments.

Nice grouping of flowers. I like how you placed them within the scene. The colors appear a bit muted to me. Perhaps a slightly stronger "S" curve would get those colors poppin'! :toast:

Richard,

I like this as posted. It's understated and natural to my eye. If you did want to emphasize the flowers more though, you might try a vignette on a tight crop. Not suggesting it as much as just mentioning it.

Richard: I like this view and the amount of BG works well for me. The lichens on the rocks are real plus elements for me as well. Nicely done. >=))>

Richard, I think this is a great nature documentation shot; I also would have love to have seen just these little yellow flowers and their foliage.

Ciao ;^)

Richard:
Nice flower and placement looks good to me. Like the lichen in the BG. If you want to play with it, you may like to flip this 180 so that the flowers are facing up rather than looking down and droopy. Just a suggestion.
