Late fall in the bayou

This photo was taken in Robe Bayou just west of Brinkley, Arkansas two weeks ago. I have passed this area many times and never stopped, but on the way back from Memphis the colors still looked good, so I made the detour and explored this area. The colors were still pretty good. You can see a few more from Robe Bayou and my fall gallery from Arkansas at the link below.

Fall this year was different from last year when we had abundant rain and the creeks and rivers were running full, but there is always something that is interesting even without the rare fall water. Thanks for looking.

From the looks of your gallery it looks like you had a very successful fall shooting season Tom. Nice work across the board. Hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Tom,
The color and verticals in this photo are very pleasing.
I wonder about darkening the water slightly where the shadows of the trees are located???
