Soft evening light falls on a small group of fins in Arches National Park as the moon rises in May of 2009. Your comments and critiques are appreciated.

Lovely composition Wayne. I'd personally like to see the sky just a touch darker to convey the twilight mood. :toast:

I like it Wayne, it looks like the rocks are bending towards the moon!

Beautiful light on the sandstone. I can't say I'm a fan of the border, though. Something that doesn't intrude into the image-area would be a lot better, imo.

Nice twilight colors on the monoliths, and the 'moonstar' works very nicely here.
Darker sky? I could see it, but this works very well as is. Real nice to see a non-iconic image from this place!

I like the composition - very nicely balanced! The light is also interesting - it brings out the structure and the texture very well!

The texture in the rocks is well done.

A very nice composition. I like the way the rocks seem to be leaning towards the moon. The lighting seems a little unnatural imo, like over-done hdr that has drained the mood.

I like the warm evening light on the rocks, maintains the richness of the reds. Nicely done Wayne

Like it a lot Wayne. The subject is very interesting to look at with a nice glow and the sky contrasts nicely. The moon is the icing on the cake.

Very cool composition and perspective. Love the moon too! My only suggestion would be to warm the image slightly. Looks too blue to me. Excellent work! :toast:

Beautiful color and detail Wayne! The trees add some scale to this wonderful place. Beautiful work.

I like this Wayne, the rocks look like giant fingers reaching up to that moon.
Great light and natural colors, I like that border that seems to sit back a bit too..
Beautiful work :toast:
