Beautiful low angle, Karen and I like the quality of the water. Nice detail in the bird.

Oh, sweet shot Karen. A great example of what a low angle does for an image. I am there with this bird. The water is excellent and the sharpness on the bird is perfect. Love the water on the back. Top-notch for sure.

Love the DOF in this image, Karen. I also like how the grebe is sitting in a shallow trough with all the small swells surrounding it, no nits whatsoever from me.

My eye usually goes to the brightest spot in the picture and that be that gorgeous red eye. Love how the colors complement each other

I agree with Ron B's comment completely Karen - this is very nice. Typically I'd nit you on too much OOF foreground but not here. I love the effect.

Lovely low angle almost looks as though you were underwater. I like the crop and the red eye. I think the white underneath is a little hot. But overall an appealing image.

Well done. That red eye caught my attention right away and of course the low angle combined with shallow dof look great!

This is especially nice because of the low angle.

Good comp, great low POV and details Karen.
Difficult to expose these birds with the light & dark plumage, but you managed it well

Great shot Karen - love the low perspective. Really like the chop in the water and how it surrounds the bird
