Glossy Ibis
by SandyRichardsBrown
Made a quick trip to Florida to visit my dad for his 90th birthday, and happened to run into Fabs and Al Forns and a couple other NPN'ers at the Wakodahatchee Wetlands near Del Rey Beach. Small world..
Perfect sunset light and a good banking angle combined to show the beautiful multi-color sheen of this glossy ibis. This species has been one of my nemeses - I have lots of shots of them, but not very good colors/sheen before.
