Hi Kyle,

Interesting shot - nice colour palette and great eye! Compositionally I find these type of swimming images tough (I have many similar shots, albeit with a bear swimming in them) - I'm thinking that I'd prefer the caiman a little lower in the frame (via re-cropping if you have the pixels), but this is a bit of a guess. I don't know the shooting conditions, but think that if it was in any way possible (and it likely wasn't) to get a lower angle the image would have been strengthened even more.

Cheers...thanks for sharing this one...

Nicely done environmental image of the Caiman. I'd like to see more of them, so post them if you got 'em.

Thanks for the comments! Unfortunately this was taken on a boat tour and we didn't stop for long, so there are few images of this guy .

For me, I would definitely prefer a lower angle, but the boat scenario is quite limiting. This image is full-frame, but I'll have a go at cropping a little and see what I can manage.

Cheers!
