On the rocks

I like the light and textures in this image, it was begging for a mono conversion with a slight tonal tint.

Some may think the foreground rock is a bit dominant but I quite like it as it is, the 10-20 lens is great for getting in close like this, you just have to keep watching for the waves

Very dramatic! I really like your tones in this conversion. It still feels organic but with the emphasis on the lines and tones.

I love the drama and the light Geoffrey. I also like the slight sepia tones.

Geoffrey,

Great b&w seascape; great tonal range. I agree with you about the rock. It's large and pretty dominant, but it's not overtaking the image and I think it balances nicely with the rock cliffs and the rest of the scene quite nicely. I like this very much.

Dramatic and it reminds me of the cinematic effect in the film '300'. The composition for me isn't spot on but overall its very good...I too like the dominance of the rock - I like the effect you've created here.

Nice b/w image Geoffrey. I like the prominant rock in the fg too. The light looks sort of 'molten' in a very nice way, if that makes sense.. very silky and smooth as it spills over the rocks.
