Sweet Light

Thank you for the comments on my last image. Its nice being compared to someone who's work I admire.
I finally have some 4x5 slides to work with and more that need to sent out. I have work going back to August to get through. Since the Autumn color in Yosemite has been my big thing the last few weeks I thought I would start with one of those.
This was taken on our first evening along the Merced. It was and always is a hard choice to make at sunset as you can't be in more than one place at a time and there are definitely many choices to choose from in the Valley. It had been raining all day on us, and so I decided to take everyone down along the Merced for the evening light, with the hopes that we could get some warm glow bouncing off the clouds and into the trees. We lucked out as that is exactly what happened.
I am also posting this image for some suggestions on the color. It seems a bit off to me. The slide is spot on to how I remember it, but I think I have been looking at this too long to objectively asses it.
4x5, 300mm f22 4 sec, Fuji Provia 100F.
Comments and suggestions appreciated.

It's uncanny - I recognize this scene because I have the same trees from some images that I just got back. Fortunately for the both of us, it's just the trees/forest in the right half, and I included some of the river, so we have two different takes.... whew!
Love the composition here with the three trunks basically defining the boundary's, including the large fallen trunk as the third. I also enjoy all the fall foliage filling the scene.
I would agree with others about the slight magenta color cast. Mostly notable in the pine on the right and the fallen trunk as well. Otherwise, another beautiful image along the Merced.
