Taken on Skomer Island in June last year.

I wanted to get some shots of isolated birds, not always an easy task when there are so many birds flying in and out.

I composed this in-camera, easy enough with a zoom lens

Lovely image. I always lover these colorful birds. Background is a beautiful a blue and very soothing and compliments the overall image well. Wish just a little more of the foreground had been in focus. Slightly tight on the crop, but sounds like it was necessary in order to isolate this bird.

Well done, I like the little flower in the LLC, to me it just adds to the image. I like that you have held the detail in the blacks. Thanks for sharing.
