In Southeastern Illinois we don't have many grand vistas, so sometimes we have to get creative in seeking views which are out of the ordinary or just plain simple. Does this work for anyone?

Also, I want to mention the logo! Yes, I know it is large and detracts ;-)

Canon 1DS MK III
70-200 II @ 140
1/70, ISO 125, f11
Image cropped to pano format

Thank you for any C&C in advance!

Simple and effective Mitch. Your logo is a bit overwhelming for this particular image

Simple is good--this is beautiful!! You could always make the logo a watermark...

More than works for me. I used to live in southern Ohio so I feel your pain looking for interesting landscapes to shoot.

Works for me too! I might go with the moon composed more in the rule of thirds - but I'm stretching for that nit!

Works for me, that's a very photogenic view of a crescent moon. I can also see this working in a non-pano crop, too.

Mitch,

This works for me very well. I am a moon fanatic and go out each month to photograph the new crescent. Was this moon from the current cycle that started on November 7th? We had a storm moving through my area and I did not get to see or photograph the moon this month.

Thank you for the C&C everyone!

Youssef, yes, this was taken at about 5:30 Central time on Sunday the 7th!
Now that you mentioned it, I recall seeing your moon photos posted on here and those were stunning!

Wonderful display of colors and I like the placement of the moon. It would be interesting to see a vertical of this to show the transition of colors from ground up to the sky. Way to go.

Thought this might be Youssef Ismail's when it first opened up. I like it. 200 mm, hmm? I could do this with my lens.
