A couple of weeks ago, I came across a mature and a young fly agaric on a sandy slope in a local broad-leaved forest. I photographed both from different directions and angels, but I liked the more "artistic" one best. Comments and critiques are most welcome and appreciated.
Nikon D80 @ 300 mm, iso 160, f 5, 1/125 sec on a beanbag.

Terrific point of view and the DOF is perfect for this. Would it have been possible to get some separation between the two "shrooms without adding any distracting elements?

This is great Sandra. Love the POV and DOF decisions. Beautiful sharp focus on the edge of the primary mushroom.

I like this very much as posted Sandra. The dof and pov are perfect for my tastes. My only thought would be to crop up from the bottom by a quarter to a third and clone over anything solid that's left on the viewer's lower left. It would be a different image but would be interesting I think. Again though, I like this as posted.

I enjoy this overall. The lighting is beautiful on the top of the shroom. And I like the bg shroom. The bottom is okay but I would like to see it cropped a bit....just personal taste.
