Taken a couple years ago at a local gardens. Nikon F5, 105 Micro, film (velvia). The remarkable thing about this scene was that almost all the pear tree leaves landed face up.

Great mix of colors, particularly the green in among the warm reds and yellows. You found this as is? It takes me a long time to find the right leaves, place them just as I want, compose and shoot...

Beautiful image Scott. Very fine composition and striking rich color. I particularly like the soft reflections from the leaves. Photography at its best.

Beautiful, Scott. Everything is in the right place, with the green leaves and fruit providing interest. Looks like aerodynamics of the falling leaves made them fall face up, and you got there before a breeze or other disturbance turned them over.

Beautiful colors, Scott. I imagine the leaves land that way because of the curvature, but I don't know for sure.

Nice intimate look at Fall color, rich and warm. I like the texture of the "stuff" underneath the leaves; it provides an interesting counterpoint to the subject.
Ah, film…

Scott: Gotta love Velvia and this is the kind of scene where it shines. Our pear tree is still green so this is making me long for cooler weather. Well seen and captured. >=))>
