Macro in Acadia NP
by Mitch Moraski
After three days of continuous winds and cloudless skies, fellow NPN'er Kurt Budliger and I had a chance to take advantage of some nice high white skies with no wind, and produce some macro shots. The leaf in the LRC was an added piece of the puzzle, but the rest of the image was as is. I'm not big on "designing" my images (just me!), but the empty space needed something to dress it up. C and C's are welcome.

The bark in this shot adds an interesting texture and compositional element. Good job helping Mother Nature with the comp, too. BTA seems to be a popular tree with some of us these days.
