I couldn't resist shooting this little scene on the floor of an aspen grove near Telluride.

Lovely combo of elements. The red yellow contrast set off by the bark works very well. I'd vote for a little less bright.

I really like the composition here Angela. The combination of red and yellow work very well together.

Great catch! The color contrast and saturation makes for a stunner of a photo. These types of intimate nature photographs are what its all about. Beautiful! :toast:

Very nice Fall composition!
The dark spots on the leaves detract just a bit - you might consider cleaning them up.

I like it. The grass seems to add a bit of clutter, but the red, yellow ,and white work well.

Though I like this a lot, I think that the image would have more stronger w/o the green leaf (color scheme standpoint) and under a more flat shadowless light.

Nice composition and I like the warm colors as well, particularly juxtaposed with the neutral trunk/branch. Nobody else has commented on the DOF so perhaps it's just me, but I would have preferred a bit more.

What great mix of color, shapes and textures captured here. I particularly enjoy the overall composition of this image. While I also enjoy the rather shallow depth of field used here the softness of those two needles in the LRC kind tugs my eye more than I would have thought. Not really a big deal to an otherwise really nice image IMO. Beautiful work!

Pretty little scene, Angela. My only suggestion would be to tighten up the comp by cropping the top 1/2 way down to top of the red leaf. And maybe a bit less bright. Nicely seen and captured.

We sure are getting some great intimates now that the leaves are mostly down. This is very nice!
