The photo was taken on the same day of my previous one "The Ocean's Roar". I was on the other side of the beach while the sky was still so dramatic sky and some cathedral rocks stood along Kiama coastline.

Very moody and effective image - I like this a lot.
Breautiful water flow and subtle colors.

Great sky Yan and the detail in the water is right on IMO.
I think I'd prefer to see more of the foreground lower right corner though as it leaves me wanting in that area, but otherwise I really like the comp also.

The texture in the sky matches the texture in the shoreline rocks. Love the blues and the action in the surf. Nice work Yan.

Very well composed and the moment is awesome. I have no nits except the softness of the web version. You might want to look at my web downsizing script for Photoshop (look at my signature).

Nice and strong scene, I like the energy and the storming sky... Maybe a touch more foregorund would have balanced the composition better, IMO

Tjhis has a lot of drama and mood. The comp really draws you in to the background, too. Very well done!

What an amazing place! I really lke the fury of the sky here. I would consider either including more foreground on the lower right corner (if that's possible) or cropping off that tip of rock; it's distracting to me. The rock detail is excellent and the colors are mesmerizing!

Hi folks,
Thanks very much for your comments on this image.
Andreas: thanks for your suggesiton about the downsize web version, I'll take a look. I have some difficulties to get a correct web version in terms of its sharpness and colors.

Love the brooding sky and composition captured here. Tell me you ran out onto that rock on the left and took a self-portrait as well, because that would be a cool image too. Good stuff!
