Tiger Cub

Yep, another zoo shot. This is one of the three Siberian tiger cubs at the Bronx Zoo, taken with Canon 7D, 100-400 IS lens. Shot through glass. Sure do wish I could go to the wilds of Africa or India, but sure doesn't look like it is going to happen any time soon.

Comments always welcomed.

Zoo or not, those bright baby eyes are stunning.

This is a fabulous zoo shot Patricia. You did a great job of not showing zoo elements in the photo. Terrific pose. I'm hoping to go to Africa or India one day myself!

Nice image, I like the alert pose you caught. Hope you can go back and record the cubs growth. Thanks for sharing.

Given the constraints of this shooting situation, you did a splendid job! Great mood.

Very nicely done. Great pose, good BG and a beautiful kitty! I wish there was more space on the left so he/she is not looking into the short side of the frame but that is a really small complaint.

Handsome subject Patricia, love the patterns and those eyes...what can I say! You did well getting the face and those incredible paws all in focus.
