This picture shows the "typical" Iceland landscape in the "inner land " Very particular view with mossy mountains and vast ashes ground.

This is the F225 "track" towards Landmannalaugar !

Really nice! Love the tones on that mountain/hill in the background. Nice contrast on the foreground rock as well. NIce balanced shot. Only nit I could do is to remove that little twig or what it is in the lower right hand corner.
Cheers

Very cool. Looks like a scene from a sci-fi, post-apocalyptic movie. Great job using the road to tie the foreground and background. It also helps provide some scale. The light ain't that bad either

Great job! :toast:

A wonderful capture Alexandre. The light, scenery and use of lead lines are very effectively composed. The square presentation is nice too.

Colours are definitely weird, but in a way that I like a lot, they provide a great sense of mistery to the scene.
I love the stark foreground and the road leads the eye into the midground and up to the beautiful mountains. The blown highlights in the sky just above the hill are an issue though, just because they are right at the centre of the frame. I do hope you still have enough dynamic range available in your RAW file to recover that area, I do think it would be an improvement.

The colors are fantastically weird. The green-blue tinge of the sky is a little unsettling, but I've certainly seen green in the sky under certain circumstances. There are some burn/vignette areas in the image that appear a little strange, particularly on the left edge of the foreground stones. I never cease to be amazed by the landscape scenes coming out of Iceland though. You don't see many of the interior.

Although this would normally go into the M&N gallery, it perfectly shows what the icelandic landscape is all about: mood, vastness, serenity and incredible light, of course. I dream of seeing in person what you photographed, Alexandre! Beautiful!

Nice light, the ominous dark surroundings really make the sunlit hills stand out.

Very other worldly indeed Alexandre, facinating landscape.

I would have guessed Iceland if you hadn't mentioned it Alex, it's a place have always wanted to visit and this looks typical of the place, based on imagery I have seen before. The spot light on the mossy mountains make this a dramatic landscape. I do echo Paolo's recommendation of recovering the brightest part of the sky. (to me this is an example whereby bracketed exposures can definitely help maximize IQ) :toast:
