I really like the idea here, and the wonderful lines and textures in the leaf !
The BG seems, to me, to compete a bit too much.
A clean, simple, light BG perhaps might set off the leaf better.

Love the detail in the leaf and the background Danny. Interesting scene..... almost like a leaf in a different universe! The apparent vinretting adds to that impresion.

This photo appeals to me, and it's an interesting idea. Now I am going to have to experiment using a leaf on blacktop and then using the same leaf on concrete. Thanks for the idea and the photo project.
