Great pose and colors - and the flowers are a nice addition.
The oof green is a distraction, but still a fine image.
I wonder if you could have managed to get a bit higher to avoid the oof green?
A bit tighter crop would get rid of some of it, if you chose.

Geoffrey,
I think the pose and the setting with the flowers is very appealing. With the head of the brid tucked down like it is it feels very intimate to me. I don't mind the OOF greenery at the bottom though I might crop a small amount off of the bottom to minimize its impact.
One thing I would attempt to address is the blown whites just past the dark part of the neck on the chest. It could be tricky to bring those whites down without turning them gray but the brightness there does pull my eyes away from the beauty of the puffin. In the field I may have used less positive ev compensation.

Super composition. Quite thought provoking the way the primaries cross the bill. Might warm up the white on the should, just a hint of blue on my monitor.

Another beauty Geoffrey - great detail and background. I'd love to see a puffin and it just so happens that our youngest is going out with a young lass from the Shetlands so you never know your luck.

Great shot Geoff, pose makes the image, good detail and lighting, Be pretty hard to deal with those whites on the shoulder, would require a second raw development to combine with this one I think, though it doesn't look like there is a lot of tonal variation there in the feathers to translate into detail here.

Like the position and the little bit of water on the feathers. Great color as well.
