Hi Richard,
I like the sense of motion in the flower bed. I'm surprised that at 1/4000 s, that the image isn't a little sharper, but that's not a "do something," rather it's simply a comment.
I can't tell what you were using as a focal point so assume there was some camera motion.
Nice color.
Cheers,
Carol

Hmmm...Richard, I thought this would be a lensbaby shot judging by the OOF areas . Is that natural ?
Shot by itself looks excellent to me - good colors and inclusion of a nice habitat.

Richard:
The comp and colors are nice. I am having difficulty identifying the focal point; maybe more DOF may have done the trick here - not sure.

Richard,
There does seem to be a little motion blur in this. I like the colors, textures and composition but might consider a slight vignette to make the flowers seem more focused. Beautiful image none the less.

Hi Richard, the flowers jus seem out of focus, it might be motion but the popping grass blades in the exterme right seem to be in more focus then the flowers maybe the focus was jus of the grass!

Richard: I love these kind of shots in general and this one in particular. I don't see any motion blur but I do think the f4 was a bit too shallow Wonderful find and a great capture. >=))>

I like the photo, but I'm wondering what the results might have been if you'd used a longer focal length and smaller aperature and stood further back to achieve the same composition. I think there might be less distortion and greater sharpness.
