These are tiny foliage gleaners that feed on the scale on eucalypt leaves. It's a bit cluttered but thats where they are.

1D2n 500/f4 1.4X
ISO 400 f8 1/250 overcast
There was a bit of wind so there were lots of blurred and obscured shots. Removed one blown oof twig

cheers
Rob

The clutter doesn't bother me Rob, it's mostly OOF and I think helps this pretty little guy "PoP" from his surroundings. Love the larger version, a beauty and great capture on your part.

Love that cocky little head tilt. Nice colors and I don't think the cluttered background detracts in any way. This bright little bird stands out plenty well.

This is getting to sound really repetative Rob, Another nice, colorful, little bird. You sure got the knack. Love the "clutter" here. Great habitat. The beak on this bird is really interesting to me. Very specialized for what they eat. Very cool.

Excellent pose, and well done getting it in focus from bill to tail. I like the typical habitat too.

Great shot of a neat looking bird. The "clutter" bothers me not at all. While I like the shots with smooth, clean BGs I also like a little habitat especially with the songbirds. It seems more natural to me.

A pretty, perky little bird Rob and you've done extremely well with it. All kudos, no nits.
