Nice shot Simon, like the setting overall, though I would suggest cropping about half the OOF FG.

I love the food in the mouth. Always makes the image less static IMO. Lovely colors, excellent details. I think a crop from the bottom could improve this already excellent image.

Simon,
this beautiful bird with the prey is super. Great colors too. I agree about cropping a little the OOF foreground.

Beautiful Simon. I like the purple colors, they make this very special. Personally I would be tempted to crop this pano by eliminating the OOF FG at the bottom. :toast:

Another beautiful bird very well captured! I would also agree about the crop mentioned above. In truth though, I must admit this was not a bother at first glance.

Nice. I can see what the others mean about the crop but I also like the way the burgundy color of the foreground matches the color in the birds shoulder. I would like it either way.

What a very interesting setting Simon! Love the bug, the colors and how well you've done in the low light. Quite a unique image IMO.

As a side note, I also appreciate the completeness of your techs and processing info.

Nice capture of a beautiful bird Simon. You did a nice job with the exposure. That pose is great and the bug is a big bonus. I think I would be tempted to crop out the OOF band on the bottom. Great image as posted.

Thank you all for your comments.

Ron, the bird is standing in a bed of a herbaceous plant species that was about to flower. The area had received a lot of rain and wildlflowers were everywhere. Simon

What a colorful bird and setting to go along, really makes the image. I like your low angle and would also adjust the OOF foreground, great job in getting this, way to go.
